Never thought I’d ask, pls help my best friend be okay

Hello my loved ones (and those unknown), I’ve never done this type of thing, but as someone who is often a giver, it is time to humbly ask for help from those who may be similar minded.

My best friend of 8 years has reached one of those times in his adult doggie life where he needs some unexpected medical assistance.

After getting checked out on Monday, the vet alerted my wife and I that Tobie will need to have one of his molars removed next week as it is severely abscessed and at risk of spreading the infection through the bloodstream to the brain, leading to a brain abscess, which would sadly then result in neurological complications and potential brain damage.

I love this guy a lot and he has been my serious best friend his whole life. From 8 weeks to 8 years, if you know Tobie you know he’s the sweetest boy. As weird as I feel about asking for help, I can’t let this go undone. Thank you for being helpful to those who are able.
