My name is Xay Dé. Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this.
The reason I have created this Go Fund Me is because I need your help. I am a transgender woman, who has been working rigorously to save enough money to pay for my medical procedures. I was just over half way to my goal, but then the pandemic hit us very hard. I had to unfortunately use the money that was designated for my procedure to get ends to meet. Alas, I am now struggling to get the money back.
As the title suggests, I am looking to have breast augmentation done.
Although I am confident and proud of who I am, there is still a part of me that needs this procedure to feel COMPLETELY whole... Looking into a mirror and seeing your reflection a is daily task we all do, whether it's first thing the morning in the bathroom, in the car's sun visor, or in the window of a small shop on the street. Our reflection shows us exactly who we are.
However, my reflection is not showing me who I am on the inside. I am a powerful, intelligent, & kind woman, and like others I should be able to face my reflection and feel a great sense of pride, but there's just a couple things missing...
As I said, I've been saving for years now, and I'm just over half way, but I've hit a block because of the pandemic. So, I humbly turn you to ask for a donation to help me reach my goal. Even if its just a few dollars it will surely help! As they say, "Every penny helps." If you cannot donate, but still wish to help, you can share this story to others you may know. You can post it on your social media or in a company email. You sharing this is just as valuable as the physical currency being donated.
The funds you provide me with will go straight to my upcoming procedure in September! With these funds I will be able to pay for my doctors visits, the actual procedure itself, and the recovery time. So you will be helping me greatly by donating today.
After receiving this procedure, I will be firstly very grateful, but I will be able to live as my true, most authentic self. With this new wind beneath me and my confidence beaming, I will return to my work as a community health educator and civil rights advocate with greater love and compassion for my community! By helping me live more true to who I am, I can go forth and continue to be a leader to those who wish to improve our world.
