Anita Markewicz is a longtime horsewoman who dedicates her life to rescuing, retraining and rehoming horses of all breeds. She runs a 20-acre horse facility called Hope for Horses with little help. In 2020 Anita was diagnosed with cancer and has been fighting it ever since.

Because of the cancer Anita cannot work the same number of hours as before. As a result, Anita needs help covering her past. present, and future medical and personal expenses. She would never tell you that she's struggling which is why we, her friends, started this fundraiser.
