Never Dull Your Sparkle

I am having a terrible time coming up with words... I keep writing and deleting over and over again... It seems impossible to tell my story.. So, I will try to just write... Try to not press the delete button yet again.. Ok here goes nothing...

I will never forget April 27th, 2018.. I was complaining to my Mom about a rash on my face.  How can I face coworkers with this horrible rash. My Mom laughed with me and told me, it best you stay home.  You don't want them to think your are contagious. Meanwhile I had no idea what was going on with her.  Five hours later my Mom informed she was in the hospital and was just diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.

My Mom was getting her hair shaved off to remover the tumor.  So Joy Vega (Amazing Woman) and I dolled my Mom up to look like a super model before her surgery.  If you have to say goodbye to your hair you better go out with a bang we thought!!!

Well April 30th after my Mom's brain surgery we found out that my Mom was diagnosed with Glioblastomas.  If you don't know what that is please look it up.  Needless to say I always tell people its what John McCain had.  The only difference is my Mom is 52 years old.

My Mom has been my rock, my love, my better half.  She truly brings the dazzle to everyone.  My Mom is an Oncology nurse. I will never forget taking her to her radiation appointments and she is still being strong for every other patient.  She never even blinked an eye or let anyone feel sorry for her.  She always gave hope to every other patient.  Regardless what my Mom was going through she decided to be strong for everyone else. That is who my Mom is though, she always wants the best for everyone else.  No matter what it takes!!

I don't want to bore you because I could go on and on.  I just want her to be better. But I also know that I have to come to a understanding. My Mom will never be in remission.  Everyday for the rest of her life she will fight!  And I know my Mom will fight till there is proof that glioblastomas patients can be in remission.

What am I asking from you... Oh geezzzz... I am asking for you to help me bring my Mom her DAZZLE AND SPARKLE back.  My Mom lost her hair during radiation treatment.  She will never get her hair back either.  So I am going to cut 14-15 inches of my own hair and transfer it into a wig.   She may never get her own hair back. But I can give her half of her hair back through me!  Transferring my hair into a wig is going to cost around $1,500.  Please help me bring my Mom's sparkle back!

Oh... One more thing... THIS IS  A SECERT!!  I want to surprise my Mom!!!  :-)
