Nevarda gave everything on the racetrack — nearly $90,000 in prize money. But now, he needs everyone to give back.

When we found Nevarda, he was underweight, withdrawn, and clearly in pain. With no care plan in place and no one stepping forward, we couldn’t look away.

He’s suffering from untreated dental issues — sharp teeth have left the inside of his mouth and lips ulcerated. He likely has gastric ulcers, a common issue in racehorses, and his digestive system is compromised. Despite this, he remains gentle, quiet, and open to connection. He’s ready to heal — he just needs our help to get there.

We’re raising funds to give Nevarda the care, peace, and retirement he deserves.

We estimate $2,500–$3,000 will help us provide for Nevarda's immediate needs and safe relocation. If we’re lucky enough to exceed that, all extra funds will go toward his long-term care — or to help other horses who find themselves in similar situations.

We’re also looking for a long-term home where he can live out his days with a companion horse, receive regular farrier and vet care, and finally know peace.
