Hello I'm making this go fund me account for my niece that will be needing brain surgery. Nevaeh is my brother & sister in laws daughter & is the youngest of 5. Nevaeh is 3 years old and is sassy, talkative & has a huge personality. She stopped growing in utero and doctors believed she was going to be a stillborn baby. She was born prematurely at 3 pounds 10 ounces. She was known in the NICU as the "sassy baby." She has always been a fighter and has overcome many obstacles in her short time in life. In December she started complaining about headaches & recently the headaches started becoming an everyday thing with other symptoms including facial weakness, absence seizures, leg pain, fatigue & mumbling her words. She was referred to a neurologist that ordered an MRI which found the Encephalocele & defect of the brain. Encephalocele only affects 1 out of 10,000 live births and is a rare disease. She will require a 4 hour brain surgery & will be in the hospital until she can learn how to walk, eat & use the bathroom on her own. It has been very overwhelming emotionally and physically for my brother and his family because both my brother and sister in law are going to have to stop working due to this major surgery my niece will be needing. They recently bought a house less then a yr ago and have to worry not only about my niece having brain surgery but also about their other 4 children and also taking care of essential needs, bills & medical bills piling up. So I kindly ask if you can please donate whatever amount you may feel comfortable with to help take the stress off my brothers family.
