Nevaeh’s Leukaemia ALL Journey

Our darling daughter Nevaeh Breeden was diagnosed with ALL Leukaemia on the 29th October 2023.

Our world was turned upside down as you can imagine, and so unexpectedly after our second visit to pinderfields hospital.

Luckily this time when her bloods clotted the children’s day unit doctor attempted bloods for the second time, which then confirmed her diagnosis. (Saved her life)

After an immediate transfer to the LGI Leeds children’s hospital, we remain here getting looked after by the lovely staff and best of all the amazing Candlelighters Charity who have helped us throughout all of this.

We would like to give back what they’ve given to us during one of the darkest times of our lives.

Not only are they great with our daughter & entertain her with all the events/toys/play sessions and gifts, but they’ve emotionally supported us since day 1.

Nevaeh started Chemotherapy on Wednesday the 1st Nov and will shortly start to lose all her hair.

No mother wants to see this, or see her daughter upset about it. We both will be cutting our hair to support her through these hard times.
