Nevaeh’s Dance Competition Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nevaeh Grant and I am 13 years old. When I was a little girl I dreamed of being on stage. When I was younger my mom put me in my first ballet class and I loved it. Ever since then I have dreamed of being a professional dancer. In the last year I have attended and became a dance member of “Dance House Of Brooklyn”
As I grew up I attended classes made friends and learned new skills. When Covid came everything shut down and times had changed. Economical hardship had impacted my household. All the prices had gone up including my dance tuition.
This year July I auditioned to be in competitive dance. I made it onto one of the dance teams and began to train all summer at home. The dance studio sent an email for a meeting. We attended the meeting and began to get all the information about company dance. We realized that it would be too expensive.
That night I went home and cried. I thought about my late grandmother and how she dreamed of me dancing. I began to feel sad like I disappointed her. Dancing is something I love to do. Competing and training at a high level has strengthened that love for dance and shown me the value of hard work, dedication, cooperation, and family.
Your support will help me pay for travel, competition fees, choreography, and costume expenses.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and will help me work my way towards achieving my dream.
Thank you so much for your time and support.
