Nevada Storm’s Jj Sanchez’s Medical Expenses #21

As a team we are creating this fundraiser to help support Nevada Storm’s RB and Two Time WFA All-American, JJ Sanchez #21, after a season ending injury.

On Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 at the Storm’s first game of the season JJ Sanchez #21 sustained a life altering, and season ending injury. In the middle of the third quarter, JJ was rushed to the hospital via ambulance where she awaited X-rays revealing multiple fractures to her left Tibia and Fibula as well as a dislocated Knee. With surgery as the only option it is now a question of when and how. Pain management has been incredibly difficult and swelling in the area delays surgery dates. For the time JJ is still in Denver awaiting the decision of the orthopedic surgeon trying to decide if the pain can be managed enough to get her back to Reno where she can have surgery locally and begin her road to recovery.

With insurance out of state coverage is incredibly difficult to secure, not to mention the medical bills that will follow. In addition to ambulance bills, surgery costs, physical therapy to follow there is also the concern of being out of work during the healing process. At this time we are hoping to alleviate as much financial pressure as possible from JJ and her family’s shoulders. The only thing we want her to worry about is healing!
