Neuter clinic at Green Valley Dog Shelter, Bosnia

During the 1990s Bosnian conflict, Srebrenica suffered some of the worst war crimes in Europe since World War II. As a result, there is a considerable homeless dog population.

Green Valley Dogs shelter (formally known as Happy Tails, Srebrenica) is the only shelter in the area; housing, feeding and providing veterinary assistance to these dogs. Run entirely on donations, there are insufficient funds for the dogs to be neutered.

In October/November 2022, a group of UK vets and vet nurses will be volunteering their time to neuter 300+ dogs from Green Valley Dogs shelter and the local community around Srebrenica.

We are trying to raise funds to cover items that have not been donated, such as medications and consumables (gloves, drapes etc).

Any money left over will be donated directly to Green Valley Dogs to allow them to continue their work.
