Neurological Assessment urgently Needed

I'm setting this up on behalf of my sister, who desperately needs assistance in order to help her 6 yr old son. Please read below my sister's plea, it's a bit long but I'm hoping you can help out, even if it's just 1 dollar or a share to other friends. Thank you.

I'm not normally one to ask for help, because I'm delusional and think I can do everything, but this time we need it.

My son is 6, a beautiful blue eyed baby boy, with a sharp mind, he can be sweet, and kind, but we have been dealing with his behavioural disabilities since he was old enough to crawl.

It started out as hitting his head off of things, and laughing at everything. Not a big deal right, I agree, I could handle that. What I can't handle is how it escalated and how there was literally no help for us. We tried seeing his pediatrician and we were referred to a psychiatrist when he was 3. His behaviour had become violent, but he had no recollection of doing anything, as if he checked out and was on auto pilot. He was prescribed antipsychotics to try and mitigate this, and it was then he was diagnosed with ADHD. We paid for a psychological assessment to get further information as just having ADHD didn't seem right. He didn't check those boxes. He can focus, and he is extremely intelligent, what he can't do is understand social cues, emotions, and danger.

He didn't feel pain, or at least exhibit signs of feeling it. He ran on his tip toes and flapped his arms like a bird. From my understanding that's not ADHD, so we were back to seeing doctors, but they all ruled out autism because he could make eye contact (for a short time) and respond to his name. That was fine, but we still had no real answers. He was on 20mg of one ADHD medication, 1 mg of another, mixed with 2mg of the antipsychotic and still no change. He was still hurting classmates, his siblings, and even me. We have had some scary situations, but we have managed, exhausted, but managed.

We changed from medications to cannabis under the direction of a doctor from Toronto, hoping this could help, and it did, for a short time. So we are still nowhere further than where we began, and we are still searching for answers. I asked for an MRI, thinking maybe there is something we are missing, turns out he's had a stroke and has a lesion on his brain (a follow up is to occur this year) It didn't provide answers, but more like a clue. So now we have booked a neurological assessment in hopes that we will actually find something out. The only thing is this next assessment is way out of our budget at $4500. As a mother I would give up anything to make sure we get this chance to have some answers so we can give this sweet little boy the best chance of success. And I have, but sometimes we have to ask for help. It takes a village to raise a child, and I'm hoping somewhere outside of my family there is a village.
