On the afternoon of April 17, our lives were changed completely. My dad, Larry Neuhaus, was involved in a terrible accident that has left him with a broken spine, pelvis, arm and leg. He is unable to care for himself in any capacity, and will continue to be unable to for the foreseeable future.
However.
Despite needing constant care, the hospital cannot keep taking care of him in his current state. This responsibility is now going to fall on my mom (who has no choice but to keep working to pay bills) unless we find the funds to get him the constant care he needs. That's where this page comes in. And you.
If you know my family at all, you know we don't ask for help often. We like to dole it out, but we don't like to take it. This is an instance where my dad's well being, as well as our home and very livelihood are now on the line and we have no choice but to reach out for support.
With your help we can give my dad the proper care facility he needs, keep the lights on, keep our home so my dad can eventually come back to it, and try and make it through all of this one day at a time.
