I can't believe how fast time has passed and now, reality is slapping me in the face. My oldest is soon to "leave the nest." I have raised her alongside the help of many family members and good friends that have watched her blossom into a young lady over these last 18, almost 19 years!
BUT... before I explain the importance of this GoFundMe, please read Tatiana's story below:
From a young age, she was a free spirited, creative, and kindhearted person. Through middle school and high school, Tatiana endured uncomfortable situations and battled many challenges, as many teenagers do. No matter how many times we moved homes or schools and even when COVID hit, she still prevailed!
Tatiana did volunteer work for the National Kidney Foundation and for the Town of Rolesville. She also completed two baby sitting and safety courses through the American Red Cross. Tatiana sang for many years in the chorus, ran for Vice President of student body council, and she was a safety patrol. In 10th grade, Tatiana scored her first job at a retail store in the mall. She worked hard and gained her first real work experience. Her next venture was a waitressing job at a restaurant. Tatiana's resume began to expand as she gained more experience with several different opportunities. She worked and saved money and started to learn about financial fitness and the importance of credit. As a senior in high school, she was approved for her first small credit card AND bought her first car. She now works as a waitress for another restaurant while she finishes up her last year of high school.
Tatiana's post-graduation plan is to move to Bryan, Texas where she will continue her college education at Blinn for two years and then transfer to Texas A&M College of Nursing for her nursing degree.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to accumulate a "Nest Egg" for Tatiana so that we can send her off to Texas with a sense of security that will be needed to start her new life over 1,200 miles away! If you know me, you know how extremely uncomfortable it is to ask for money, but my girl deserves this more than anyone. She has worked so very hard to make things happen for herself! To say I am proud is an understatement, my baby is awesome, and she will make one hell of a nurse some day!
Any amount helps! If you are not able to donate, please share this with your friends, family, and coworkers.
