Nessa's dream to attend Tourette camp
Donation protected
Nessa is a very smart 12 yr old girl. Before Covid 19 she was a energetic, funny, go getter kinda girl. She wanted to be an astronaut or a veterinarian. She was into Harry Potter, reading, playing the violin, and Pop music.
About 6 months After Covid hit we started seeg a change in this young lady. She started to have tics
It started as shivers down her spine to clapping her hands.
NOW her body has been
struggling for the last 3 months. She has continuous tics where she is is struggling not to tic for even 30 seconds at a time. This includes swearing out loud, hitting herself, hitting others, hitting walls, dumping water on her head while trying to drink, throwing food, writing on her face with markers.
We are seeing a neurologist and she has upcoming appointments to a psychologist for more potential diagnosis. The neurologist states because she has coprolalia she definitely has Tourette syndrome.
Nessa is begging to go to a summer camp where she will be she will be around 300 other kids with this syndrome and they can be themselves with no judgment or holding back. She needs to feel better about herself and realize there are thousands of kids with Tourettes and she isn't the only one. Plz help her get her wish for 1 week.
Nessa and I will be doing fundraising but also if you decide to help my baby girl, any money donations will be used for her and her and I to get to Georgia from Maine via plane, for my hotel, food and for the 1 week costs of camp Twitch and Shout. Thank you all for the support
