Nesbert Jr...A Son, A Brother, A Friend In Need
At 22 years of age most people are just graduating from college, maybe considering a Masters’ degree, or trying to figure out what profession to pursue? Can they leave home and make it on their own? These are some of the questions many people have had to answer…for Nesbert Kambarami Jr or “Junior” as he is affectionately known; this was not an option anymore. In April 2019, during a routine visit to the doctor, Junior’s life changed. He was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, Grade II Astrocytoma Brain Tumor - an extremely rare form of brain cancer. This is the most aggressive type of cancer that begins within the brain, with symptoms similar to those of a stroke.
For the last 2 years he has gone through chemotherapy and radiation in the hope that the tumor would shrink enough to slow down the progression of the symptoms. Unfortunately, this has not happened. Junior’s condition has deteriorated so much so, that he needs assistance with walking (he needs a cane), talking, as well as performing regular activities of daily living.
The great doctors in Washington State have done all they could to help him, but have advised that there is possibly help in Houston, Texas. Junior continues to fight but we are now turning to you with the hope that you will be able to support him in this fight. Please would you consider donating to assist his family with expenses, which include medical, travel, living costs and in-home care. Your kindness will go a long way in helping this young man fight this terrible disease.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support…we ask that you keep Nesbert Junior and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
We will continue to update this page as we know more about his condition.
