Hi everyone. My name is Jenn I am Maggie's mom. We just found out that Maggie has a significant curve in her spine caused by scoliosis. Her curve actually is going the opposite way that most kids get it. So we have a MRI scheduled in 2 weeks to see if something else is causing it. Maggie is such a trooper she hardly ever complains about pain but I can see her struggle sometimes. She is headed for surgery in the next few months and we are both scared. I have insurance at work but this endeavor is going to cost a lot out of pocket. Maggie has many doctors appointments before she can have the surgery and so far everyone at Children's hospital have been just great. I am grateful to have such an amazing team around her. I will be taking off of work to be with Maggie at the hospital and have been told she could be in for up to 5 days. She has a long painful road ahead of her but I have no doubt Maggie will be just awesome after all of this. Please if you could share this Maggie and I would be very grateful. Thank you!
