So, Pete's Nerd Emporium has been robbed.
My latest shipment of products has been stolen from what should have been a safe drop off point for packages. What's worse; it's where I live.
Amongst the items taken were many new releases, some of which were pre reserved and limited quantity items which I may be unable to replace or provide for my customers.
I am beyond devastated.
It is another serious blow to the business after the tremendous beating that has been 2020. One that Pete's and Pete can hardly afford.
If anyone comes across and suspicious FB Marketplace/Craigslist/etc. sales, please let me know so I can contact the authorities.
In the off chance that the thief sees this; The value of the items taken makes this a felony, but, if they are returned no further action will be taken by me. This is Not worth fucking your life up over.
Finally; I understand that things are tough all over, especially now, around Christmas. I can understand what could lead someone to start stealing, but it is not the answer.
If you truly feel desperate please reach out to me. I never have so little that I wouldn't share. And if your child is in danger of not having gifts for Christmas, I will make Sure that does not happen.
