Neptune is a playful, affectionate, and fun-loving dog. He loves the outdoors, enjoys swimming, long walks, and cuddling. He loves people. However, Neptune recently began to experience a noticeable limp. He also began to pant heavily and became extremely clingy.
Neptune recently received terrible news. He needs to have his left-hind leg amputated. He suffers from osteoarthritis, which is a degenerative joint disease or degenerative arthritis. To compound his problems, Neptune also suffers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament (“ACL”) in his right-hind leg.
Neptune, who is a six-year old Labrador Mixed Breed male, will require two surgeries. The first surgery will involve the amputation. Then, once he recovers from that surgery, he will undergo surgery to his ACL.
The combined cost of both surgeries is estimated at $8,500. Regretfully, I live on a fixed income. I do not have the financial resources to pay for Neptune’s surgeries, but I am committed to providing quality care during his post-surgical recoveries and beyond. I desperately need financial assistance to pay for Neptune’s surgeries. So, Neptune and I humbly ask you for your help.
