Neptune wasn’t just a cat he was family, my comfort, and a constant source of love in my life. He had the gentlest soul and a way of being there exactly when I needed him most.

Recently, Neptune was diagnosed with late-stage kidney disease. Despite doing everything we could; vet visits, treatments, and trying to keep him comfortable his condition progressed quickly. Watching him go through that was heartbreaking, but we stayed by his side every step of the way to make sure he felt safe and loved.

Saying goodbye to Neptune has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’m grateful for every moment we shared, but the emotional loss has also come with an unexpected financial burden from his medical care and end-of-life expenses.
