Nepal Gen Z Protest Fund

I am reaching out today on behalf of Nepal’s youth — a generation that has found its voice but is paying a heavy price for demanding change.

On September 8, 2025, thousands of young Nepalis took to the streets after the government banned major social media platforms, silencing free expression. What began as peaceful protests quickly escalated when authorities used tear gas, rubber bullets, and even live ammunition. Tragically, many young people — students, brothers, sisters, and friends — lost their lives, while hundreds more were injured.

This is more than a protest against censorship. It is a generational fight against corruption, injustice, and hopelessness. Nepal’s Gen Z is standing up not only for free speech but also for a future free from political stagnation, unemployment, and inequality.

We are raising funds to:

1. Support families of those killed, helping them with funeral costs and financial relief.

2. Provide medical assistance to the injured.

3. Create a sustained support network for young activists who continue to risk their lives for change.

Every dollar donated will go directly toward these causes. Even the smallest contribution can help a grieving family, heal a wounded protester, or fuel the movement for a more just and democratic Nepal.
