Empower Nepal’s Brightest Teens to Represent Us Globally in Baku, Azerbaijan
Nepal is on the verge of making history.
In 2024, Team Nepal earned its first-ever silver medal and was crowned Best in Financial Literacy at the International Economics Olympiad (IEO) in Hong Kong among 54 countries. In 2019, we won our first bronze.
Now, we’re just one step away from gold—and you can help us get there.
What We’re Raising Funds For
We’re seeking $5,000 to support:
- Intensive training camps for our national team
- Domestic travel and logistical costs
- World-class mentoring and learning resources
Separately, our international travel and accommodation costs exceed $10,000, and we are seeking support from larger sponsors for that. But for now, this grassroots campaign ensures Team Nepal is trained and ready to compete at the highest level.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just about medals. It’s about:
- Giving public school students a global stage
- Promoting financial literacy and economic thinking in Nepal
- Building the next generation of policy leaders and changemakers
Many of our participants come from modest-income families and rural areas. They’ve earned this opportunity through merit—but now they need your support to fully realize it.
About Us
This campaign is organized by Young Economists Society Nepal (YESN), the official organizer of the Nepal Economics Olympiad (NEO), in collaboration with SEBS NA Inc., a U.S.-based nonprofit.
NEO is a volunteer-led initiative that has trained over 5,000 students across Nepal since its founding, and our alumni have gone on to top universities like Harvard, LSE, Ashoka, and Minerva.
How You Can Help

Final Words
When you support Team Nepal, you’re not just funding a competition—you’re investing in a dream. A dream where geography or income doesn’t limit potential. A dream where young Nepalis help shape global economic conversations.
Donate today. Inspire tomorrow. Help Nepal bring home the gold.
