Neo's hip surgery

Hi name is Yvonne and 2yrs an 10months ago I'd been looking for a dog suitable to be my service dog. And I heard about a young dog who needed a forever home so I went to meet him .. He was beautiful an I felt a connection with him but because he was a blank page ... But their was the trauma he'd been through as he was rescued from Cyprus.

I decided to Foster with a view to adopt I new once he was home I'd keep him. And once I'd won his trust he was happy to learn because he new he got food.

He worked so hard for me his support with hospital visits meant so much an he was so popular with all the nurses Neo even smiled at people, the dentist the doctors the supermarket. Our neighbours an people we met in the village.

My Dr an Consultant pushed me to stop work because my health was affecting my ability to do my job for NHS ENGLAND.

Having Neo has kept me mobile.

Then he went lame an because he was a rescue Xrays where the answer. The results were worse than imagined his hip displyacia but our vets at STAR started hydrotherapy an Neo started to improve but after another winter Neo's lame again. Xrays again to see if theirs progression an the pictures were shocking he needs surgery now on both hips the socket on the left is almost gone an his hip could pop out anytime.

Neo has 3.5k left on his insurance to spend on his treatment an hip replacement plus aftercare an possibly more hydrotherapy I need 9k all together so I need to find £5,500 to raise. Without the surgery Neo would have to be put to sleep, he's in pain which is under control but I don't want to lose Neo he's just turned 5 an he has a great life now he's loved so much by so many but to lose him would kill me.. Can you help me please save my boy‍
