Fundraising to help build a Baby Bereavement Programme ❤️
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you for offering your support to our family during this difficult time.
Our precious baby Laura was born prematurely at 27 weeks. Far too early.
With your amazing financial support during July and August, we raised £954.50 and contributed to buying two medical monitors for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Southampton Hospital. These monitors will deliver life transforming work day and night for a decade. Thank you.
We are now fundraising to help Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Poole hospital where Laura lives.
Our baby Laura couldn't sustain her life for another 8 weeks, untill she reaches her full term, without these nurses, doctors and equipment at this unit.
The team is currently fundraising to build a bereavement programme for parents experiencing baby loss.
These will make a significant difference to grieving parents and staff team's mental health.
Every parent at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit face the possibility of losing their baby. We were so frightened when Laura had her major surgery after only three days of being born weighing only 700g.
Could you join our family and offer them financial help?
We are really grateful to so many of you asking how you may help. This is the best way you can offer us help.
We hope to raise whatever we can to help the Poole hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit build their baby bereavement programme as soon as possible.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Please know your help will make a difference to our baby Laura's care.
With love and prayers,
Baby Laura Rose, Daddy Alistair and Mummy Joanna Hardie
