Neon the Bishop’s First Full Length Album

Dear family, friends, and fans,

NTB has been on an incredible journey. In May of 2019, we played our first show and sold(free show) it out. Since then we’ve had the opportunity to make a name for ourselves in the Denver scene as a very promising up-and-coming band. From January 2020-January 2021 we released our first 3 singles with great success. The last one of those(Going the Distance) won us an incredible opportunity with Denver radio station 93.3, to play Fiddler’s Green in front of thousands of people. We had to pleasure to play alongside bands like Cage the Elephant, Rise Against, Half Alive, Grandson and many more. To top off this incredible run, we took home the grand prize for our song "Wasted City" and the crowd favorite prize in Channel 93.3's Hometown for the Holidays. There are more exciting things brewing for 2022, including our biggest show yet at Mission Ballroom in front of about 3,000 people in December.

This is not even the best part of being in this band. We’ve become a family with passions and purpose transcending music. Driven by our love for community and creativity, we have been able to share a piece of Neon’s story with others in hopes that it would inspire them to chase their dreams and do what they were made to do. THIS is why we do what we do. But there is so much more of this story to be told…

Kendall believes in this story so much, that he has stepped down from his full time job to pursue the incredible opportunities before us. Don’t worry, he is able to support his family through solo gigs, weekend contracts, and the video production company he started. All of this has given him the flexibility to pursue the success of Neon the Bishop to the max.

It’s time to take the next step…

We are prepared to record our first full length album(8-10 songs) to be released in July of 2022. Along with that, 3-4 music videos to be shot by Kendall’s video production company, Reel Flamingo(saving us a lot of money). 4-5 singles will be released weekly before the full album. We don’t just want to release music. Our desire is to create a memorable experience to inspire those around us! So, with the release comes a short tour to celebrate and share it with our family, friends, and fans starting in Denver, CO. Fun fact…. Much of this short tour is already booked! More info to come down the road.

In order to make this happen we need to raise $15,000. This will cover:

Cost of recording and production
Marketing(it’s not worth releasing anything without some marketing. This is how we see return on our work, helping us become self-sustaining)
Tour/show equipment
Special limited edition merchandise

We want to make this a career, so our purpose in raising this money is not only to create this single project, but to create sustainability. We are planning and working hard to be around for the long haul. That is why this will be the only fundraiser we will ever do. We want to build off of what we are able to raise and use it in the most effective way possible.
