Filming SNK and FGC Documentaries In Japan

Dear friends and fans,
As you might know, back in 2020, I planned to go to Japan and film 5 documentaries about the amazing games of SNK, and get you access to exclusive content never seen before. But unfortunately, the Corona Virus happened and the trip was indefinitely postponed. I am happy to say that things are now back on track and would like to share with you the new plans for Neogeonow to visit Japan.
The current plan is to be in Tokyo on Early November 2022. The plan has changed and I will now film more content with your help. Below are the documentaries that will be filmed in Japan.
- Ready Go! a KOF Documentary: What started as a simple history of KOF has now turned into a more features-fledged project. In this documentary, we will examine the birth of KOF in Osaka and how it grew to become the worldwide phenomenon it is now. This documentary will look at how the series started and evolved and the impact the series had on the genre, the arcade scene and FGC. Expect interviews from known people in the gaming industry.
- Two secret SNK related documentaries: These will be announced soon. Those of you who followed my channel should have an idea what these are about. One is exclusively about KOFXV and the other one is about SNK. ;-)
- The Past, Present and Future of Arcades in Japan: In this documentary, i will do an expose of the Japanese Arcade scene and how it changed as well what the future might hold. This will include footage form the remaining Arcade locations in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as exclusive interviews.
- A look at the Japan FGC: An exclusive inside look at the Japan FGC with exclusive interviews with Top players, a look at how they train and prepare for competitions.
- Neo Geo Carts Hunting: In this expose we will look through the Japanese retro game stores and see how easy it is to get some of the most famous Neo Geo carts and at what cost. Planning on having a known guest for this one (confirmation pending)
- The History Of Street Fighter! - More Details incoming
- I am trying to visit Capcom Osaka office to talk to the Devs about the Street Fighter franchise. I will have more details once and if i get a confirmation.

I am planning to well use my 11 Days time time in Japan to bring you guys exclusive never before seen content.
Now as you might know such a trip will be expensive, and that is why i am counting on the fans to help as much as they can. Below is a rundown of the costs associated with the trip
Airline ticket: $1700
Hotel and food accommodation for the duration of the trip: $1500
Transportation (Trains between Japan and Osaka and transfers): $320
Gimble device Already purchased with the money received for the donations prior to Covid): $500
Optional: If, by any chance, we surpass the goal i will use the money to hire a cameraman, changing the perspective of some of the documentaries.
