Support for our sister..

With an open heart and deep humility, we reach out to our tribe to support our beloved sister, mother, healer and caregiver-Carmel.

Carmel is a devoted mother of three beautiful girls. She has spent her life caring for others, offering healing, guidance, and unwavering support to those in need.

Now, she faces a battle of her own- one that requires her to pause, surrender, and focus on healing.

Carmel has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will soon undergo a double mastectomy. Working full-time nursing and as a mental health recovery support worker, she is the sole provider for her family. However, healing requires rest.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to cover the lost income whilst undergoing treatment and healing. Allowing her to focus entirely on healing without the crushing weight of financial stress.

Carmel's recovery is her priority, but the reality is, that while employers may hold her job for up to three months, they do not provide pay during this time. Meanwhile, Centrelink support is only available if she is unemployed,(Quits her job) and she does not have income protection.

Centrelink payments wont cover her rent, let alone the cost of living expenses. This leaves her in an incredibly unsafe position.

Our goal is to maintain her tenancy, ensuring that her children's safety, security and routine can be protected while she heals.

Every contribution, no matter how small, is a gift of peace of mind and and security during this vulnerable time.

She has given us her blessing to reach out, though it comes from a humble place. We ask that her healing space be honored and her privacy be respected, allowing her to receive this support with gratitude.
