Nena & Troy’s Celebration of Life
From Ranae, Chadd, Troy and Jacob (the children of Nena):
Early Saturday morning, August 14th, 2021, our amazing mother passed away expectantly at the young age of 53 due to Covid.
Our mom, Nena, had such an amazing spirit, smile, infectious laugh and love of family. Every holiday you would find our home filled with family, friends and sometimes random strangers who didn’t have family to be with. To our mom, family was everything and everyone was family.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out. The outpouring of love, prayers, and caring support has been so helpful during this time.
Understandably, our mom hadn’t prepared for this. As we are dealing with the grief of her loss, we are also dealing with many legal and other expenses including the planning of our mom’s Celebration of Life (which we anticipate will be in October 2021).
Many of you have asked what you can do to help. Anything you can do to offset the unexpected expenses we find ourselves facing would be greatly appreciate. Thank you in advance.
On Thursday, August 26, 2021, our beloved Troy Randall Neill passed away. His mother, Nena Michelle Martin, passed just days before on August 14, 2021, and we know she was there to welcome him to heaven along with his Papa Neill.
During Troy’s 27 years with us he touched so many people with his friendship, humor, and kindness. Troy had a deep love for family and friends and always greeted those he knew with a warm hug. We will all remember his uncanny ability to recount the prefect movie and tv quote which would always be followed by his infectious laugh. Troy loved deeply and would do anything for his family and friends – you would always hear him say “What can I do to help?” as he jumped right in to lend a hand. His last project was helping his mom remodel her cabin in the mountains. That was such a special time for him.
He is survived by his father, Randy Neill, his sister Ranae, brothers Chadd and Jacob, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
At this time, we anticipate having a combined Celebration of Lives for Troy and Nena which we anticipate will be in October 2021.
