Sunday August 18th, Nena and her son Martin Jr (both pictured above) were hit by a pickup truck while riding a golf cart at North Texas Jellystone Park in Burleson while on a family vacation.
Nena is currently stable but has several injuries that will require extensive surgery and rehabilitation for a long time to come. We are asking for any donations of any amount to help cover medical costs that will inevitably be in the future and of course any prayers on her behalf. Martin Sr., her husband is self employed doing cement work and therefore does not have health insurance and all expenses are expected to come out of pocket. Not knowing how much this could amount to, we set our goal at $20,000 but would be grateful for any help. Nena is a loving wife, mother, abuelita, and a faithful daughter of God. Please help us restore her body in this world so she can continue to advance The Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
Martin will undergo a spinal fusion August 20th, 2019 and is expected to stay in the hospital for a minimum of two weeks. He has multiple torn ligaments throughout his spine, fractures, a concussion and wound care will be needed for his face and legs. His loving fiancé Tasni Reyna needs all the support she can get, Martins life will now require a long 9 month - a year of full time healing and physical therapy. He is the head of household income and will have to completely focus on his health full time to improve his outcomes. Please help us take the financial burden off his shoulders as he tries to learn how to regain strength after the accident. He is strong in faith and light spirit. Together as a community I know we can help the Campa family recover from this unforeseen tragedy.
Your finances will cover medical expenses, physical and occupational therapy. Wound care, professional transportation to a rehabilitation center. And whatever home care they might encounter once they arrive home to Midland, Texas.
