Hello Friends, Family and Readers….
I would like you to say hello to the love of my life, Nemo. As my sister likes to call him, Nemo Bear.
For those of you that know me, know that Nemo has been by my side for the last 12 years. He has been the best companion that anyone could ever ask for and is truly one of my biggest blessings.
Last Tuesday, he was rushed to the emergency animal hospital. Nemo was dealing with dehydration, an eye ulcer, swollen throat and extreme weight loss. During this visit, they also found a mass on Nemos left submandibular lymph nobe. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but was told that they wanted to do a biopsy to see what was causing the mass.
Two days later, I received a call from Nemo's Doctor. The first words out of his mouth were "Miss, I'm really sorry but I have some really bad news." My stomach dropped and my heart began to shatter into a million pieces as the doctor continued to tell me that Nemo had Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cancer.
Today January 18th, I took Nemo to see the Oncologist, where I was told that Nemo needs to go in for a CT scan ASAP which will cost $1,400.00. He needs the CT scan in order to be treated with Radiation Therapy and Chemotherapy. Without treatment nemo will continue to lose weight and the tumor will grow bigger causing him to have a hard time eating as well as breathing.
I'm not one to ask for help, however, Nemo's vet bills have become extremely expensive to handle on my own. Now with the CT scan, Radiation Therapy and Chemotherapy we need your help.
No donation is too small and every penny will be used to cover all vet bills, follow ups and medications for Nemo to have a better and longer life span. As I already said, I'm not usually one to ask for help, but when it comes to the love of my life there isn’t anything that I’m not willing to try.
