Nelson Gomez tragically died on Monday, March 30th. He was a rare human being who spread so much love and kindness and positive energy to everyone in his life. The common theme in the messages that have been flooding in speak to Nelson's kindness and positivity, love of family and friends, gratitude and grace. This was a shock to all of us and we're left with a strong desire to give back some of the love and support that Nelson gave to all of us. Our hearts break for Nelson's family. Those who knew him knew how in love he was with Rebecca and how proud he was of his four boys. We've started this GoFund Me to help his family through this difficult time with funeral and other expenses, and beyond as his family tries to regain their footing while trying to meet the ongoing financial demands. As one friend said, "the world just lost a beautiful light, and we just lost a dear friend." In some small way, we hope this reflects the love that so many people felt and still feel towards Nelson and our effort to bring light to his family. May Nelson's memory be a blessing for all of us.
