Nelly Schanks Funeral

My name is Jacklyn Doig. I'm 27 years old, raising my three young children in Florida. I have been taking care of my children along with my wonderful parents. My parents both suffer many health complications and I have taken it upon myself to give them the care and attention they deserve. They have both given me everything I ever needed growing up. It is now my turn to take care of them and provide them with their medical needs.

On October 15th, I experienced a daughters worst nightmare - the death of my mother, my best friend. My mother, Nelly Schanks was not only a mother but a beautiful caring wife and grandmother. She was the most selfless, loving, hard working woman. She always put her loved ones first and held it down for her husband, grandkids, and myself. It was unexpected and devastating to lose my mother. I am completely torn by her passing and was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. I am respectfully asking for donations to help give my mother the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. Any and all donations will make a difference.
