I am Alex, nephew of Nelly de la Peña, on her behalf I am sending this out to the world for a little compassion in order to help Nelly go through a surgery to extract and get rid of the cancer tumor she has on her abdomen, which, unfortunately, is a result of it coming back after three or four years of being cancer free.

Although she tried to do this through the public system in Mexico, unfortunately the system has a tremendous backlog and there is a possibility for her to have the surgery in span of time that it spreads from 6 to 8 months, time she doesn’t have to because time is of essence.

The reason why I decided to intervene is because she has been a mother to a lot of us, a wonderful teacher that dedicated her life for almost 40 years to education and a wonderful lady that has taken care of those surrounding her. Today, she is in need of our support, and I will be very thankful, if I can touch your heart and we all can support her with some funds to achieve the desired goal.
