Nelda Daniels Memorial Fund

In June 2023, our mother received a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer, specifically an inoperable Glioblastoma brain tumor, just one day after celebrating her birthday. Despite our initial optimism following her first round of radiation and chemotherapy, the passing of her husband in July, whom she had been married to for 47 years, took a toll on her. The symptoms of her brain cancer became increasingly noticeable as she experienced weakness and frequent falls, lacking the strength to support herself while walking.

In the middle of July, our mother was hospitalized in order to increase her sodium levels and regain her strength. Unfortunately, due to her weakened immune system, she was unable to become stronger. Eventually, she was transferred to Hospice care for her final two weeks and ultimately lost her battle with cancer.

Although we will always feel her absence, we understand that she is no longer in pain and is now happily dancing with her beloved in heaven. We are aware that both of them are looking out for us.

Instead of sending flowers, we kindly request that you contribute to the family's fund for funeral and medical expenses. Our mom will be laid to rest in the mausoleum, which has restricted capacity for floral arrangements and plants.
