Nela Athletics Community Branding

Our community leader Paul Austad and his wonderful team of coaches, made the courageous decision to join the roster of companies demanding a reckoning with institutional racism, and stand in solidarity with our diverse community to help build a country and a world where everyone can live with dignity and free from fear. Specifically, they decided to disassociate from the Crossfit Brand, since it became evident that they dont share the same values. That took a tremendous amount of courage, and I; for one, couldn't be more proud of being part of our Nela Athletics Community. That being said, as a community, we cant be blind to the fact that there will be costs and expenses associated with this re-branding, and I hope and feel that we, as a community can rally around Paul and his team, and lessen the burden that comes with it. Specifically, the outdoor signage will need to be replaced and that can carry significant costs, to the tune of several thousand dollars.  I know for many of us, times are tough, but, if you have the room to take part in this movement, you'd have a debt of gratitude. Let's see what we can do!
