Neil's Heart Transplant

Donation protected
As many of you know, my brother Neil had a heart transplant on Sunday, October 31, 2021. The surgery was successful and his is now able to sit up in an chair and walk with help from physical therapy. He entered Hartford Hospital in Connecticut over 3 weeks ago due to worsening heart failure from a genetic history of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which runs in our family.
Neil has worked for over 30 years in the high-end cabinet making industry which required heavy lifting and exposure to air born contaminants. The demands of his job required him to resign and he will not be able to return to that line of work in the near future. At this point, when he is cleared for work in about six months he will have no job to return to. He also has no disability and has applied to Social security but it will be months before he gets any reimbursement.
His wife, Susan, was laid off 2 weeks ago from her customer service job and is currently filing all the paperwork necessary to get some sort of financial help to cover the mounting healthcare bills. In the meantime, Sue has been trying to find a job but the bills keep coming. I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother and his wife to help them pay the bills and keep their house. Every little bit helps. Thank you and God Bless!
