Neil grew up in St Louis, MO and moved to Atlanta, GA two years ago to start a new career.  In December 2014, at the age of 33, Neil was diagnosed with a rare oral cancer and underwent surgery to remove a tumor on his tongue.  In an effort to keep the cancer from spreading, 19 lymph nodes were removed from his neck.  Unfortunately, the biopsy revealed the cancer had already moved into four lymph nodes and had extra nodal extensions in one.  Due to the size and spread of the cancer, it was considered to be stage four.  Neil is currently undergoing daily radiation and chemotherapy treatments for six weeks at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.

Neil has a smile on his face everyday and brings optimism to everyone around him.  He never complains, always looks at each day as an opportunity to compete and is proving that this mindset is crucial in his fight against cancer.

Neil has touched the lives of many people, including his fellow cancer patients at Moffitt Cancer Center. In an effort to raise money to help Neil with the financial burden during his treatment, we are reaching out to family and friends using gofundme and hope together, we are able to assist Neil through this trying time.  Any and all assistance for Neil will be very much appreciated and will not go unnoticed.
