Hello All...

As some of you know on Dec 7th Neil had a colonoscopy and they found a 5cm mass. It was quickly diagnosed as cancer, specifically rectal cancer and it has metastasized to 4 lesions on his liver.  This was a blow for sure and it hit home when the doctor said that metastatic cancer was stage 4 cancer. We met with the Oncologist and got more of a blow when we asked how long... the doctor said we can get 2-2 1/2 good years (we are praying for more). 

Unfortunately, I was also in the process of looking for another job (due to being let go) when we got the diagnosis. We are planning to use the COBRA medical insurance so we can continue with his current health plan. I am trying to find a job that will help with medical but the kicker is we don't want to have to start the process all over again. We need to treat it now and we need to treat it aggressively!

We are not ones to ask for a handout but with the cost of the insurance and possible living expenses starting to stack up, we are looking to social media. Any little bit will help.
