Neil Williams European Judo Championships Veterans 2025

In 2024 our very own network guru Neil Williams became the champion at the British Masters Judo Championship in his age and weight group which is such an incredible achievement.

Neil has been invited to represent Team GB at The International Judo Federation European Judo Championships Veterans 2025 in May.

As Neil's colleagues and friends, the Talbot Infra team would love to help Neil with his funding in lieu of corporate sponsorship. This is a huge commitment and a big expense for Neil, it would be so lovely for us to be able to help with the monetary side of things. Anything you give will go directly to Neil.

Neil's story:

Along with being an Talbot/AIG employee I am also a member of the British Judo Veteran Squad.

The International Judo Federation European Judo Championships Veterans 2025 is taking place in Riga, Latvia on 21st-25th May 2025 and the British Judo Association have registered me to compete as part of the GB Veterans Squad. Unfortunately funding to attend events (this one being overseas) is reserved for the regular GB squad (under 30's) and us veterans need to self-fund using either personal finances or through sponsorship.

Over this past week I've decided I'll go and compete by hook or by crook because as well as wanting to do this for me, being the eldest coach at our Judo Club (Metro Judo Club) I want to do it even more to help inspire our other very talented volunteer coaches and club members (kids and adults) who love our sport to enjoy competition and to keep aiming nice and high :-)
