On December 9th Neil Nolan was admitted to the hospital and was diagnosed with Meningitis, and Sepsis, that resulted in a mild stroke. Miraculously he began to recover from this as he lost his spleen in a motorcycle accident back in his 20's which has him very susceptible to infection.  Over the next 8 weeks, Neil was back and forth from the general hospital to the rehab hospital as he suffered from major setbacks.  During this time Neil received about 12 units of blood as well.  He was in the hospitals for almost 2 months and lost  over 50 pounds.

He is now in outpatient rehab learning to walk, talk and swallow food again.  It's going to be a challenging road, but Neil is determined to fight and work on getting back to health.

I am setting up this gofundme account up for Neil, as he is accumulating upwards toward $15,000 of out of pocket medical costs while not being able to go to work at the same time.  Your generous consideration of a donation will go directly to these costs in at least taking a bit of  the financial burden off of Neil.  Included and in lieu of donations, please send your healing prayers in aiding in Neil's full recovery.  God Bless!


Neil's Update 6/4/2019 :  Neil has been working hard to get back to his former self, but a few pounds lighter and new lease on life.  He has been in Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy since he has returned home.  He had a brief 2 day stint back at the hospital awhile back due to a speech problem, but it has now gone away.  Neil has made great progress and is actually due to go back to work on June 17th.  God willing, he will continue to grow stronger and hopefully live a long and healthy life going forward.  Thank you all so much for your support and continued healing wishes for Neil.  God Bless!
