Neil McKeown Fundraiser

Donation protected
To everyone who knew him from childhood to adulthood, Neil is still an inspiration as to what can be achieved in this life. Taken too soon, he still has room in his legacy for fundraising. In Neil's life everything was not yet in place.

To this end, having spoken to several of his close friends and organisations Neil was involved, Boyne Swim, Drogheda Triathlon Club, and the Red Door Project, have all endorsed this effort to raise funds to assist with firstly, the family bereavement costs, and secondly to continue assisting in Neil's good work through the legacy of further fundraising.

He annually got involved in "Movember" and other charity events and was a great advocate for the improvement of mental health, the understanding of it and how we all could improve.

Some of the outpouring on social media noted;
..."He always had a cheeky smile",
..."he had a heart of gold"
..."at hand to help the needy...
..."nothing but fond memories of Neil"
..." he was fearless"...
..."We’ve lost a fun-loving, life-loving, caring person"...

Neil also has a stakehold in the swimming ability for 100s of local people of all ages.
" He was a great coach and made it fun for everyone".

A percentage of all funds raised will go towards the Red Door project. This will all be documented in the commentary once the fundraiser is complete.

Neil worked alongside the Red Door Project providing fitness classes and giving talks to assist people on their path. Funds raised will go further towards the legacy of his work.

In addition, Drogheda Dolls facebook group have done great work and raised funds towards AEDs for locations in the ramparts and Boyne walk areas which
