Some of you are aware of what is going on with Katie Sheridan, whom is new to our Social Studies Department and DSOA. Her and her family were given some heartbreaking news that her husband has a rare stage 4 cancer that is requiring aggressive treatment, innumerable doctors, and for her husband to travel and be away in New York for treatments and Katie to accompany him at times. With two little ones at home, her husband away, and maintaining a job, there is a lot on her plate. I wanted to rally us all together and show her that her DSOA/Santaluces family has her back.
