Hi, my name is Megan, Neil Shackleton’s daughter. Everyone who knew him knew how much of a gentle, bubbly and light hearted soul he was. As a teenager he lost his mum to cancer, aswell as losing his dad (my grandad Arthur) earlier this year. Unfortunately this took a massive toll on his mental health and after losing my grandad I truly believe his only hope was to be with him again. He had his struggles and unfortunately his body couldn’t keep fighting physically aswell as mentally. Due to the loss of his parents this now makes me his next of kin and I am now responsible for his funeral and other related things. As I am only 19, I study full time at university and I cannot afford to give my amazing daddy the send off he deserves.
