On the evening of Saturday April 30th 2022, fire destroyed the Playa del Rey home of Kevin and Mary.   Their home for 30+ years and just about everything they owned was completely destroyed by a faulty gas line.

 

Kevin and Mary are the best neighbors that anyone could ask for. They are the neighbors who are constantly looking out for each and every house on the street. They are always the first to offer a helping hand, whether it's helping build a wall, fixing a gate or chasing burglars off your deck (yes this really happened!). Mary made sure to take care of all the critters that called our street home, from the neighborhood cats to stray cats to a peacock that took up residence here for a year. Kevin has such a presence on our street that we dubbed him "The Mayor of Delgany", and this place just wouldn't be the wonderful place to live that it is without him and Mary. They have both come to the aid of their neighbors in need countless times, without hesitation. So now I am asking you, our neighbors and friends, without hesitation , to ask for help to get Kevin and Mary.

 

When you donate there is a note that says this fundraiser is supporting me, John Russo.  That is incorrect and I don't know how to change it.  100% of all donations made will go directly to Kevin and Mary to help them rebuild their home and their life.   This fundraiser is all for them, not a penny will go to me.
