As some of you may already know, Erika’s mom unexpectedly passed away recently. Due to the circumstances of the situation, our dear friend Erika has been back in Ecuador alone and is navigating far more than one person should have to handle on their own. We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help Erika with some of the legal fees, government fees, moving expenses and the costs associated with unpaid bereavement leave navigating this difficult situation.

To know Erika, is to love Erika. She has one of the biggest hearts and exudes warmth and acceptance to anyone she meets. We’re so grateful for her presence in our lives and want to support her in any way we can right now. Erika regularly puts others before herself, which she got from her mom, Neida who took care of so many friends, family, and mentees with her hands full of love.
