Friends and Colleagues,
I am thrilled to announce that I have been accepted into Class XI of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program (NELP), a very competitive and selective 10-month professional development program designed to prepare emerging leaders, for ethical and effective leadership in our companies and communities. I couldn’t be more excited to be selected into this elite group of current and future community leaders and for what the next year has in store.
My employer has been a strong supporter in preparing me and providing me with the necessary time off to complete this program, but their funding for this professional development opportunity is not available.
Unfortunately, I was depending on my employer to pay my tuition. It is very hard for me to ask for help, in fact I originally turned down the NELP opportunity because of lack of funding, but was strongly encouraged to try crowd funding to raise the funds. So here I am asking for your support.
