Help Hannah get back on her feet and to not feel alone

Some of you may know me in Scot and Hannah's Sasquatch circle, as Peggy Sewid. And as you also may know by now, Scot recently passed away, leaving his wife, Hannah, on her own, without her eternal soul mate.

Scot and Hannah were inseparable. They created Squatch America so they could literally journey together in a world that brought them adventure, knowledge, healing and fun as they strove to “Investigate the Unexplained".

Scot's death was sudden and shocking to all of us. To us, he was a vibrant, loving and gentle man. However, Hannah knew that over the years he was mostly in pain. His health had steadily declined. Over just the last few months, the decline accelerated to the point of him dying in their trailer, with Hannah holding him in her arms, alone.

Scot was an Army veteran who served two tours of Desert Storm in Iraq. There is no Retirement, IRA, or other wealth of funds available for Hannah to sustain herself at this time. She recently lost her job, but she and Scot had plans to move forward. Hannah has faced and survived many battles before, and she knows she will move forward. She has adapted to her new reality with pain, but not as a victim. She just needs a little help to buffer the changes, such as relocating to Idaho to be closer to family. There she can face the grieving, paperwork, and have time to take stock of her talents and courage to face the job market, etc. All of this takes time, and we know it will take money to ride the stormy waves of healing and get back on her feet.

During a time where Hannah was terrified a few nights ago, thinking she would be alone, she is thankful and truly in awe that she can be lifted by so many people who care about herself and Scot.

So, if you're inclined, you can show Hannah she's not alone. Together we can demonstrate that she is loved by contributing funds that she can use for basics: groceries, gas, packing, storage and moving, and all the little things that can add up. Make your donation, big or small, here, and help her take her next steps on solid ground.
