URGENT!
A heartbreaking case has just arrived at our Orphan Lamb Rescue Farm. A member of the public found this injured, skinny, fly blown lamb on the side of the road, barely alive.
And contacted orphan lamb rescue farm and asked us to take in the lamb
Orphan lamb rescue farm is a registered charity, we take in orphaned, sick and neglected lambs and sheep and give them a forever home
He is a pet lamb and looks to have been dumped, he had been seen for a couple of weeks in the area he was found, on the side of road with no sheep in the paddocks
We don't know his history but we know he's super friendly, and has serious injuries and has been neglected
He's extremely underweight and has fallen victim to fly strike and a broken leg. Thanks to the quick thinking and kindness of this good Samaritans who took him home, gave him water and food and lots of TLC
He was barely hanging on when he was found, extremelydehydrated, dtarving and sick.
Over night in their care he went from lethargic to up and walking
He has now received treatment, immunisation, antibiotics, antinflammatory and wound care
Although hes eating and looks bright he has a long road to recovery, he will need lots of top quality food and lots of TLC
He process will be slow and log with extensive vet bills and high quality food
We're grateful for the community's support in helping us provide for lambs like this little one. If you'd like to help support his recovery, please consider donating and sharing his story.
