Help Cookie the Frenchie Get Urgent Medical Care
Cookie the French Bulldog spent years confined to a tiny washroom, never knowing love or freedom. When she was finally rescued and placed with a foster carer, we hoped she was getting the fresh start she deserved. But just days into her new life, she started having multiple seizures.
Now, Celandine Wood Animal Rescue is urgently appealing for donations so Cookie can get a CT scan to determine what’s wrong. The cost of the scan and medications is estimated at £3,000.
What’s Happening to Cookie?
At first, our founder and vet, Dr. Sharon Williams, suspected epilepsy. But despite trying medication, her seizures have continued—and worsened. If the new treatment doesn’t work, there’s a high chance she has a brain tumour. The only way to find out is through a specialist scan, but we can’t afford it without your help.
Why We Need Your Help
Celandine Wood Animal Rescue has recently taken in a wave of sick animals, including:
- Two puppies with broken legs needing urgent care
- Two cats with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a fatal disease
- A new rescue centre that’s saving more animals than ever but stretching our funds thin
Vet bills are mounting fast, and we’re struggling to cover rent this month. But we can’t turn our backs on Cookie. She’s desperate for love, comfort, and the chance at a life she’s never known.
How You Can Help
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to getting Cookie the scan she needs. £5, £10, or whatever you can spare will make a huge difference.
If we raise enough, we can give Cookie a fighting chance—and continue saving more animals in desperate need.
❤️ Please donate today and help us give Cookie the care she deserves. ❤️
