Negar's Stem Cell Therapy for MS

This is Afrouz Demeri - I am making this Gofundme link for Negar on her behalf to support her in getting stem cell therapy in her spine as the last treatment in the blood helped her move her neck and relieved her pain.

Negar was diagnosed with MS at the age of 28 (she is now 53). She is completely paralyzed from neck down and experienced a lot of physical pain daily although you wouldn't know as she never complains. She is the most loving positive person you will ever meet (I'm not exaggerating) and has worked on mindset and surrendering, being present and working on her beliefs and thoughts since her diagnosis and since having to be completely dependent on caregivers.

She first came to me as a patient at UCI's Susan Samueli Integrative Center when I was Director of Functional medicine there in 2015. The first comment when I met her, was her request to have me help other young individuals with MS or disabilities as the government and insurance does not offer services for individuals under 65. She had no family in California and no kids or parents so had to figure out how to support herself and find caregivers and train them while being unable to use her extremities.

She would never ask for help but please join me in spreading her love for humanity by raising money to try stem cell therapy (there is no guarantee that it will work) but she has tried everything else and has hope from her doctor that this could help.

I hope to one day help spread her understanding of health and disease and share her lessons learned in becoming more 'formless' in a documentary, but for now, join me in #dancingforMS and #zumbaforMS and #persianzumbaforMS.
