With all of Nefty's recent accomplishments, he has been given several setbacks to overcome.  A couple months ago we were told that he is going blind.
Recently laid off due to a slump in his season at the club, we now are without insurance and a diagnosis of cataract.  Eye surgery is expensive and we are not able to afford it.
As his eyesight has been deteriorating he has slowly started losing the ability to do everyday things such as driving and reading.
It is now affecting his second greatest love...cooking.
Surgery to restore his eyesight is our only option. Since we have been destroyed by financial hardships,we have sold everything that we can and still haven't been able to gather enough to cover the cost of his surgery. It is just too much for us to raise alone.
Nefty is now blind in his right eye with his left following progressing rather quickly.  Soon enough the disease will take both eyes if he can't get the surgery.  We're most afraid of the lense leaking out of its bag and causing glaucoma, which is a permanent condition.

Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
